Carlisle Jones brings over 15 years of experience in the Sports, Health, and Leisure sectors, underpinned by a strong foundation in strategic leadership and operational delivery. He is recognised for his ability to build high-performing teams, foster strong organisational cultures, and drive meaningful outcomes. Carlisle is deeply passionate about helping individuals and organisations reach their full potential.
With a unique combination of business acumen and practical, hands-on experience, Carlisle has successfully led teams, managed clubs and programs, and delivered results across a wide range of settings. He has also played a key role in shaping the broader sports sector through active participation on various boards, contributing insights into governance, compliance, and the strategic challenges facing the industry today. His blend of frontline expertise, leadership capabilities, and academic qualifications makes him a trusted advisor to organisations aiming for sustainable growth and innovation in sport and active recreation.
Carlisle has also demonstrated significant expertise in securing funding, having successfully obtained over $1 million in grants and partnerships for State Sporting Organisations and grassroots clubs. His strategic approach to aligning project goals with funding priorities has resulted in the successful delivery of initiatives that positively impact communities.
A former national-level athlete and coach, Carlisle represented Australia in high-performance programs for over a decade. This experience has equipped him with a deep understanding of elite sporting environments, athlete development pathways, and the operational demands of competition at the highest level. It continues to shape his strategic thinking and enhances his ability to support sporting organisations in delivering high-performance outcomes across all levels of the sporting landscape.

Steve is a people-first leader with over 30 years of experience in sport, health, and recreation. He is passionate about building programs and teams that make a real difference in the community. Known for his inclusive, safety-focused leadership style and commitment to exceptional service, Steve has successfully led everything from major facility transitions to high-profile infrastructure projects, including the $9.79 million Anchor Project in partnership with Tennis SA, Tennis Australia, and Memorial Drive Tennis Club. This redevelopment delivered world-class facilities for South Australia — allowing our next generation of tennis stars to train on all three Grand Slam surfaces. It’s a legacy 'I’m proud of, especially given our history of producing elite players like Lleyton Hewitt, Mark Woodforde, Thanasi Kokkinakis, Alicia Molik, Darren Cahill, and John Fitzgerald'. Steve brings strong financial acumen and a track record of exceeding targets, but what drives him most is helping organisations grow and thrive. His background in human movement has given him a deep understanding of sport, and he uses that knowledge to create meaningful, lasting outcomes for the sector.Qualifications:
